WHAT DIFFICULTY LEVEL IS RIGHT FOR ME?
Each Apple + Fig sewing pattern is labelled with a degree of difficulty: Beginner // Advanced Beginner // Intermediate // Advanced
BEGINNER // Our beginner level patterns are suitable for the new sewer. You should be familiar with the general functions
of your sewing machine and be able to work with basic pattern pieces and use simple techniques.
ADVANCED BEGINNER // Our advanced beginner level patterns are suitable to the sewer who has completed several sewing projects
and/or classes and has sewn from a pattern before and is familiar with with general sewing techniques.

of standard techniques and is comfortable using some of the sewing machines accessories (ie: Button holes, invisible zippers etc...)

complex pattern pieces and techniques which may be hard to follow without any previous experience.
Some of our designs are more detailed than others or contain features that require a little more technique.
Please keep this in mind when choosing which pattern is right for you.
HOW DO I KNOW WHICH SIZE IS THE RIGHT ONE?
We all come in different shapes and sizes as do our patterns. All our designs contain 'design' and 'wear' ease according to the overall function and style of the pattern. Hopefully you can gauge the 'style' and type of fit that each of our patterns are designed to have based on the models pictured wearing the product.
To identity which size is right for you, check the body measurements chart (included on every pattern listing).
